Welcome, Signature Class 39!

You’ve made it this far—congratulations on your selection to Leadership Akron’s Signature Class 39. We need to finalize several items before beginning our program year. We appreciate your attention to these before June 30th.

I. Provide Class Book Photo

We will put together a Class 39 Directory. Please submit a headshot that we can use for your page, following these specifications:

Name of file: yourLastName_yourFirstName_Class 39

Specs: 4x4 square photo, 300 dpi, jpg or tff file

Email to photo@leadershipakron.org

 

II. Sign up for Introductory Meeting

Each introductory meeting will include about a quarter of your class along with LA staff members to help get your year off to a good start. They will be held on:

  • Wednesday, August 3rd, 12:00pm (FULL)

  • Thursday, August 4th, 8:30am

  • Wednesday, August 10th, 8:30am

  • Thursday, August 11, 12:00pm

Each Signature Class 39 member should attend ONE of these meetings. Please be sure you are logged into the Leadership Akron database using the Login ID you established during the application process.

 

III. Pay your tuition

You received an invoice with your acceptance letter to use if you are requesting payment from your employer. Payment is due by August 1, 2022. Please reach out to Jill Oldham if you have any questions about tuition payments.

IV. Provide dietary restrictions and mobility requirements

Please be sure you are logged into the Leadership Akron database using the Login ID you established during the application process.

 

V. Indicate your acceptance of Leadership Akron’s Attendance Policy and General Waiver

Please be sure you are logged into the Leadership Akron database using the Login ID you established during the application process.

 

VI. Update Your Leadership Akron profile

Go to www.leadershipakron.org/alumni. Log in (if you are not already logged in).

Use the dropdown menu to find Update my Profile to review/update your information. It would be a good idea for you to review all of your information and edit as needed. We will use some of this information to create the Class 39 directory. We would also like you to add a photo to your record.

PLEASE especially pay attention to the following two items to ensure you will receive important information related to Leadership Akron:

  1. Make sure that you have a non-work email address as one of your two email addresses on record.

  2. Add your Administrative Assistant’s name and contact information if you would like this person to receive logistical information for program days.
