So, as we gathered in this reimagined place called House Three Thirty in the heart of Akron, we came together to look back and celebrate our PAST, to be PRESENT and bestow the prestigious Distinguished Leader Award – an honor that exemplifies true community impact, and looked forward and envisioned our FUTURE of empowered community transformation!

In our 40th anniversary year, we had the privilege to shine the spotlight on the recipient of the 2023 Distinguished Leader Award. This award is for a member of the Leadership Akron Alumni Family who voluntarily initiated and/or was a significant force behind a particular project or issue notably contributing to the betterment of our community.
